Since 1998, The Collaborative Center for Literacy Development (CCLD) has provided high quality professional development to all Kentucky educators by addressing the diverse needs of all learners and implementing research that informs policy and practice. The following document reports on effects and accomplishments of CCLD in its legislatively mandated mission to promote literacy achievement in Kentucky, early childhood through adulthood, guided through scientific research on literacy improvement. This report focuses on results over the past four years, 2010--2013. All evidence demonstrates that CCLD meets its legislative mandates, and has a powerful positive impact on students’ reading instruction and achievement. Click Here to View the Report
